DFYF is seeking a Licensed Social Worker (LSW, LISW) / Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LPCC).
What you'll do
Strengthen your clinical mental health skills by conducting intake assessments Provide weekly counseling and case management services to youth ages 5 to 17 utilizing a resiliency-oriented & trauma-informed care approach Use your creative interventions to customize clinical treatment approaches that meet the needs of your clients Aid in promoting youth's positive functioning through behavioral & cognitive strategies Provide services in a variety of settings - schools, homes, community Collaborate with youth's school and family systems - reducing barriers to success Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible schedule, no weekends or on-call Location: Franklin County What makes us great: We offer FREE Healthcare with $0 deductibles!

- Earn 160 hours of paid time off after your first year! 10 days of paid holidays Competitive salary and benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and employer paid life and disability insurance) Qualifications: Valid and current LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC licensure in the state of Ohio or working toward obtaining licensure Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling preferred or Bachelor’s in Social Work, with LSW Experience working with children and families preferred Excellent communication and engagement skills Strong documentation skills and ability to use electronic health record system Valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance and reliable transportation Who we are: Directions for Youth & Families offers community-based mental health and prevention services that utilize a resiliency-oriented and trauma-informed framework.
