Position Summary

We are currently looking for a 1st shift Punch Press Operator C for our New Hope, MN location.

Essential Duties

& Responsibilities Ability to manage multiple machines including automatic machines. Knowledge of bend allowances. Complex setups with little supervision. Inspects work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjusts machine to correct errors. Knowledge of using the proper punch and die clearances according to material type and thickness.

Cleans lubricates, and has the ability to do maintenance on machines. Ability to manage secondary operations. Assembles, installs, and aligns dies in press according to specifications. Positions workpiece against fixtures or stop on machine bed or on die. Starts press and observes operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.

Ability to operate a single stage Punch Press. Ability to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions.

Qualifications
