Job Title: SQL Server Developer Location: Alexandria, VA (Onsite) Clearance Required: Secret Clearance Employment Type: Full-Time/Exempt Role Overview: Syneren Technologies is seeking for a skilled SQL Server Developer.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases. Create and optimize stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and indexes . Develop complex SQL queries, scripts, and reports. Perform database performance tuning and query optimization. Design and implement database schemas and data models. Monitor database health, security, backup, and recovery processes.

Troubleshoot database issues and resolve performance bottlenecks. Develop and manage ETL processes for data integration. Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security. Support database deployments and upgrades across environments. Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022) . Proficiency in T-SQL programming . Expertise in creating and optimizing: Stored Procedures Functions Triggers Views Indexes Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). Knowledge of database normalization and relational database concepts. Experience with query tuning and performance monitoring tools.

Understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS is a plus. Experience with Azure SQL Database is advantageous.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of SQL Server development experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field. Active Secret Clearance IAT II Certification IAW DoD (For DoD IAT Level 2, you must have one of the following certifications

• CCNA Security , CySA+ , GICSP , GSEC , Security+ CE or CND: EC-Council’s Certified Network Defender (CND) ) or IAT III.
