ILS Caregiver

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our Independent Living Skills (ILS) team. As an ILS Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one assistance and guidance to adults with developmental disabilities, helping them develop daily living skills, maintain their well-being, and achieve greater independence.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized support based on each client's needs and goals. Assist with daily living activities and personal care when necessary. Teach and encourage independent living skills. Support meal preparation, household tasks, and daily routines. Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and community activities. Promote self-confidence, decision-making, and independence.

Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. Monitor progress and communicate important updates to the appropriate team members.

Requirements

Patient, dependable, compassionate, and responsible. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans. Willingness to learn and support individuals with developmental disabilities. Previous caregiving or experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.

Valid California driver's license. Current vehicle registration and proof of automobile insurance. Reliable transportation. Ability to pass required Live Scan fingerprinting and background clearance.
