QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree from accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate in Art or eligible for employment through an Alternative Certification Program (ACP). Eligible ACP candidates must also meet ACP requirements and pass TExES examination(s) required for this position. Demonstrated competency in the academic subject area assigned Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of subject assigned General knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to instruct students as well as manage their behavior Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Calendar: 187 work days Salary: Teacher Salary Schedule
