Qualifications

Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED Meet the Highly Qualified Requirements for Paraprofessionals as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act (48 college hours or more verified by official transcripts or passing score of 70 or above on formal academic assessment) Ability to obtain a valid Texas educational aide certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics Ability to work well with children Ability to communicate effectively Experience: Some experience working with children Attachment(s): Classroom Assistant.
