Sr. Payroll Accountant

Protective Industrial Products is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Payroll Accountant to administer our payroll, travel & expense accounting. This role reports to the Global Payroll Manager and will work closely with resources in finance, payroll, benefits, HR and other accounting functions. We are looking for a candidate who is highly collaborative and analytical, who excels at problem solving and can work both independently and as an effective contributor in a close-knit team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare weekly, biweekly and monthly journal entries, accruals, forecasts, and reconciliations related to payroll and other compensation-related transactions. Balance payroll, payroll tax and vendor service-related bank activity, supporting the annual budget process and audit. Work closely with the payroll provider to coordinate timely payroll tax filings.

Support integration efforts for acquired companies and system implementations. Support the SAP Concur Travel and Expense reporting system, process monthly expenses and accruals, assist with expense report accounting audits and initiate out-of-pocket reimbursements. Prepare payroll and employment-related reports and provide back-up for the US Payroll Administrator.
