Assistant Vice President, Government Affairs

The Assistant Vice President (AVP), Government Affairs serves as a senior strategic leader responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority's legislative, governmental, and intergovernmental affairs program. The AVP advances GOAA's interests and priorities at the local, regional, state, and federal levels through strategic advocacy, stakeholder engagement, coalition building, and policy development.

This position serves as GOAA's principal liaison with elected officials, government agencies, transportation partners, and industry associations while advising executive leadership on legislative, regulatory, political, and funding matters that may impact Orlando International Airport (MCO), Orlando Executive Airport (ORL), and the Authority's long-term strategic goals.

The AVP works closely with the Senior Leadership Team and external stakeholders to advance initiatives related to aviation, transportation, infrastructure, economic development, and federal and state funding opportunities. Posting Dates: 10/27/26-11/10/2026
