Join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve. --- Position Overview PGIC is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide clinical services for clients with mental health and substance use needs.
The LCSW will act as a client advocate, provide therapy, and assist clients in accessing resources, while working ethically and professionally with diverse populations. Emotional resilience, collaboration, and strong communication skills are essential for this role. --- Educational & Experience Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Full licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with the North Carolina State Board of Social Work.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience working with mental health and substance use populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
- Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in mental health and substance use treatment. --- Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Some Saturdays as needed --- Key Responsibilities
- Provide ethical and professional clinical services in accordance with licensure standards.
- Manage a caseload of 25+ clients, including therapy and group treatment sessions for children, adolescents, and adults.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, intakes, diagnoses, treatment planning, progress notes, and discharge planning.
- Advocate for client needs and connect clients with appropriate resources.
- Participate in individual supervision and peer supervision regularly.
- Collaborate with other clinical staff and community professionals (e.g., psychiatrists, physicians) to meet client needs.
- Facilitate referrals to support agencies as approved by supervisors.
- Deliver crisis intervention as needed.
- Plan treatment courses considering clients’ cultural, social, and personal factors.
- Provide training, supervision, and oversight to subordinate personnel as assigned.
- Attend workshops, conferences, and continuing education to maintain licensure and clinical skills.
