• Corporate Dining | Location: Midvale, UT 84047 Compensation: $19 per hour| Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:30am - 3pm; Friday, 6:30am - 12pm. No nights, weekends, or holidays.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Deli/Kitchen Prep Associate to support daily food preparation and production for a high-quality corporate dining operation. In this role, you'll help prepare fresh ingredients, assemble grab-and-go items, support deli production, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment. Working alongside the culinary team, you'll play an important role in ensuring food is prepared safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do

Prepare fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and other ingredients for daily service. Assemble sandwiches, salads, wraps, grab-and-go items, and other deli offerings according to recipes and production standards. Portion, package, label, date, and stock prepared food items. Support smoothie bar and deli production by preparing ingredients and replenishing supplies as needed.

Follow recipes, production schedules, and prep lists to ensure timely completion of daily tasks. Maintain proper food handling, storage, labeling, dating, rotation, temperature, and sanitation practices. Keep prep areas, equipment, coolers, storage spaces, and workstations clean, organized, and sanitary. Wash, sanitize, and properly store kitchen tools, utensils, and smallwares.

Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing deliveries. Support dishwashing, trash removal, and kitchen closing duties as needed. Collaborate with culinary team members to maintain an efficient, positive, and team-oriented work environment. Perform other duties assigned What You Will Bring High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous food preparation, deli, kitchen, cafeteria, restaurant, or food service experience preferred. Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe work practices. Ability to follow recipes, prep lists, production schedules, and instructions with accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organization, time management, and teamwork skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift, carry, move, and stock food products and supplies. Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and responsible food handling standards. Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Serv. Safe® Certification and State Food Handler Card. Physical and Sensory Requirements This position regularly works in a kitchen and food preparation environment and involves frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying throughout the shift.

Team members may be exposed to moving mechanical equipment, hot and cold temperatures, sharp utensils, wet floors, cleaning chemicals, food odors, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.
