Animal Facilities Technician

About The Role

As an Animal Facilities Tech, you will perform general facility cleaning and support for the Husbandry department within the vivarium.

What You'll Do

Here Perform general facility cleaning (e.g., mopping, trash removal, floor scrubber, etc.) and laundry. Stocking PPE storage and usage areas. Assist with transferring vivarium equipment. Perform minor facility repairs. Operation of the cage/rack washer.Comply with the appropriate safety and study requirements as described in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and governmental regulations.

Comply with appropriate safety and health practices including personal protective equipment and barrier requirements, as applicable.

What You'll Need

to Succeed High School Diploma or equivalent No prior work experience is required. Ability to effectively comprehend and communicate (verbal and written) in a professional manner. Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude toward work and co-workers. Work Authorization & Sponsorship Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
