The Floor Technician will be friendly, professional, organized, and work quickly. Floor Technicians must be able to work well alone as well as part of a team.

They must be very honest, have a strong work ethic, and a positive can do approach to their work. The JANCOA Floor Technician will keep buildings in clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities include

Analyze floor project and determine the most productive way to achieve the best results. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, and waxing. Clean and spot carpet using encapsulation and extraction methods. Work with supervisor and peers to cultivate a team environment. Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Perform basic cleaning duties as needed. Quickly respond to and follow up on client request sent by the office staff. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills: Understands and demonstrates JANCOA values Prior experience with floor equipment preferred Able to read English or Spanish Proven record of reliability and accountability Flexible with time and locations due to floating schedules Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good condition required Must be able to regularly lift/move 25 pounds and frequently lift/move 10 pounds Must pass background check and drug test
