Accounts Clerk - Amanyara

Key Responsibilities

1. Cross-Departmental Training Trains in all areas of the Finance Department to provide coverage during absences. Completes a structured development plan within the department, with quarterly progress assessments.
2. Daily Operations Support Assists with the day-to-day functions of the Accounting Department, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to best practices. Provides clerical and administrative support to the accounting team, maintaining organized and accurate financial records.
3. Reporting and Compliance Assists in preparing monthly financial reports in corporate formats, aligning with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and USALI standards. Ensures all accounting transactions are processed accurately and timely. Maintains and organizes accounting files and supporting documentation for audits and internal reviews.
4. Policy, Systems & Software Proficiency Demonstrates a commitment to learning all accounting roles and mastering relevant software systems, including Opera, SUN System, ADACO and Birchstreet . Ensures all accounting entries comply with Amanyara internal control procedures and financial policies.
5. Interdepartmental Collaboration Maintains effective relationships with all hotel departments to promote collaboration, efficiency, and accurate financial communication.
6. Professional Conduct Consistently upholds a high standard of professionalism in line with the Amanyara brand’s values. Maintains confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
