Sr. Foreman (Mech)

Primary Purpose of the Job Responsible for supervising the execution of mechanical rotating equipment and pumphouse systems maintenance and repair work for the critical Common Seawater Facility (CSF). This includes responsibility for directing and assisting in the activities performed by a small group of semi-skilled to skilled workers engaged in the installation, maintenance and repair of facility/equipment.

Required Experience and Skills 5-7 years of relevant mechanical rotating equipment experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry or public utilities. Hands-on and in-depth installation, maintenance and troubleshooting experience on rotating equipment is required. Good supervisory, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Proven experience in maintenance execution to planned schedules, and support for budgeting and estimating. Good computer skills, including relevant knowledge of SAP and MSOffice applications. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work. Possession of a valid driver’s license will be an advantage.

Good written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage. Educational Qualifications Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent from an internationally recognized institution. Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent from an internationally recognized institution. 5-7 years of relevant mechanical rotating equipment experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry or public utilities.
