• LIFE AFTER DRIVING THE ROAD If you are looking to be home every night but cannot give up the trucker life, this is the job for you! We are looking for an individual with comprehensive experience in driving over the road, to assist onboarding and mentoring our trainees. Details: Will liaison with Operations and Safety Staff, and in conjunction be responsible for all driver training functions at the terminal or off site if applicable Home every night and weekend for Dinner 5 Day work week, Monday thru Friday Extensive Benefits Package Key Responsibilities: Proficient in skills as they relate to operations of diesel powered, class 8 commercial vehicles Ability to road test new drivers Ability to help new drivers adjust and become acclimated to life as an FFX Driver Ability to build and foster professional relationships among peers Ability to utilize technology in daily operations Ability to meet and confer with individuals and groups concerning a variety of subjects, including confidential matters Promotes and Maintains a positive learning environment Promotes and Maintains a customer centric attitude Promotes company and industry resources for new drivers Maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of all policies, adhering and upholding their implementation Maintain professional work attire Maintain organized records Maintains a safety first mindset Abides by all federal, state and FMCSA rules and regulations Instructs safety course Instructs backing, docking and parking procedures Instructs hours of service and ELD requirements Instructs load securement procedures Instructs equipment and maintenance procedures Instructs paperwork procedures Administers provided instructional material Administer checklists and other procedural guides when applicable Minimum: CDL Class A Ability to pass our road test if applicable 3 Years experience Must be at least 23 years of age No major convictions (DWI, DUI, Hit and Run, Homicide or Assault, Suspension or Revocation, Reckless Driving) within the past 5 years. No more than four minor moving violations in the past 36 months. No more than two minor moving violations in the past 12 months.
