Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a full time skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to support facility and equipment operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving facility systems and production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment and Facility Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime. Support fabrication, modifications, and adjustments to production lines based on operational needs. Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and parts inventory documentation.

Safety and Compliance: Follow OSHA, GMP, and company safety procedures during all maintenance activities. Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently. Identify potential equipment or facility hazards and recommend corrective actions. Operational Support: Collaborate with production and facility management teams to prioritize maintenance activities.

Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and production support needs. Travel occasionally between local facilities to assist with projects and repairs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience as a maintenance technician or related role preferred. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Experience with fabrication and production line modifications preferred.

Familiarity with CMMS systems and OSHA regulations preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Preferred English/spanish speaking bilingual. Must be able to read English Work Environment: Manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to machinery and maintenance tools. Must be able to work in dusty environment with powders Frequent standing, bending, lifting, climbing, and physical activity.

May require flexible scheduling, weekends, or on-call support. PPE required while working on the production floor.
