Reports to: Principal/Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Salary Range : $32.
00 per hour, up to 25 hours per week Employment Terms: Part-Time, 10-Month Bargaining Unit: UNAFFILIATED Position Overview: To plan and deliver effective intervention instruction to assigned students. Typical Duties and Responsibilities: To plan and deliver small group intervention instruction to assigned students. Ability to progress monitor and adjust instruction as needed, based on student data.
Ability to match appropriate instructional materials and strategies based on student need as determined through data analysis. Ability to create and maintain accurate data on student progress. Learn and successfully implement various intervention programs. Performs such other instructional duties as assigned by the principal or designee Minimum Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
Direct experience working with children. Preferred Requirements: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Haitian Creole highly desirable. Self-motivated; ability to work independently and collaboratively, ability to bring new ideas to the team. Flexibility and patience in helping students build their academic success. Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
