Mexican Sugar is seeking a Food Runner! Apoyar al personal de servicio de todas las maneras posibles para garantizar una excelente experiencia para los clientes y un turno fluido para todo el equipo del restaurante. Responsabilidades: Interactuar con los clientes y miembros del equipo de manera profesional, amable y positiva.

Apoyar a los meseros llenando y reponiendo agua, así como retirando platos y utensilios usados de las mesas. Entregar todos los alimentos a los clientes, tanto en las áreas interiores como exteriores y en el segundo piso. Asegurarse de que las botellas de agua estén siempre abastecidas. Reponer y preparar bebidas según sea necesario.

Vaciar los recipientes de platos usados y mantener el comedor limpio y organizado. Preparar cócteles en cantidades grandes ( batch cocktails ) siguiendo correctamente las recetas establecidas, así como comprender el sistema de preparación por lotes para garantizar el cambio adecuado de los recipientes. Llegar puntualmente al turno, listo(a) para trabajar y utilizando el uniforme correspondiente.

Utilizar todas las máquinas y equipos de manera segura y sanitaria, asegurándose de mantener los niveles de inventario necesarios para el comedor y la línea de servicio. Seguir las instrucciones de la gerencia, así como de los meseros y anfitriones. Tener amplio conocimiento del menú y poder responder las preguntas de los clientes sobre alimentos y bebidas.

Obtener y mantener actualizadas todas las certificaciones requeridas. Preparar y recoger el área del bar antes y después de cada turno, incluyendo la limpieza de pisos, barra y áreas de trabajo. Vaciar los botes de basura, guardar los platos y utensilios y asegurarse de que la línea de expo esté completamente preparada para un servicio eficiente.

Requisitos: Capacidad para permanecer de pie durante largos períodos de tiempo. Capacidad para realizar múltiples tareas y trabajar en un ambiente rápido y dinámico. Capacidad para levantar un mínimo de 50 libras (aproximadamente 23 kg) . Capacidad para leer y seguir recetas de jugos y cócteles preparados en cantidades grandes.

Saber utilizar correctamente cuchillos y otros equipos de cocina. Mantener vigentes todas las certificaciones necesarias. Barback: Assist the service staff in any way possible to ensure great guest experiences and a smooth shift for the entire restaurant.

Responsibilities

Interacting with guests and staff members professionally and positively. Assist the server staff in filling water, as well as pre-busser. Running all food to the guests both inside, outside and upstairs. Ensuring water bottles are stocked. Refilling and drinks as needed. Empty bus tubs and prebus the dining room. Make batch cocktails according to proper recipes, as well as understand the batch system to ensure proper changing of canisters.

Arriving for the shift on time and ready to work in proper uniform. Use all machines in a safe, sanitary manner, while ensuring pars for the dining room and line are met. Following directions from management, as well as the servers and hosts. All food runners should have extensive knowledge of the menu and should be able to answer any guest’s questions about food or drinks.

Obtain and update any required certifications. Set up and break down the bar area before and after each shift, while cleaning floors, bar top, and wells. Emptying trash cans, putting away dishes and making sure the expo line is set up for success.

Qualifications

Standing for long periods. Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Able to read and follow recipes for juices and batch cocktails. Properly use a knife and other kitchen equipment. Maintain all necessary certifications. We participate in the E-Verify program.
