Job Description: Responsibilities: Projects – Upstream, Downstream and Other Businesses Verticals (inclusive of both M&A transactions and CAPEX projects) Lead and manage project assignments to ensure complete and timely delivery Manage team discussions with project / business associates, cross departmental and external advisors/consultants/ valuers Perform in-depth analysis in terms of cost-benefit and project economics, accounting & tax implications, key legal and regulatory implications, potential upside benefits and downside risks.
Review financial models developed internally and those developed by consultants/valuers Identify potential key risks and offer possible solutions/ mitigations Prepare and review draft Board paper/ internal memos/ reports Review and provide feedback (typically commercial input) on due diligence reports, valuation reports and market studies To work closely with Legal department in reviewing and understanding the content of relevant agreements and contracts in respect of the projects Liaise with business owners, other departments/units and external consultants/advisors Train and guide junior team members Ad hoc functions as requested by CFO May require involvement in specific projects undertaken within the Group Requirements: Accounting Degree or in other related disciplines.
Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Accounting Professional Qualification (ACCA, ICAEW etc) preferred. 7 years of related working experience with at least 3 years’ experience in Corporate Finance. 3 years in managerial position.
