This person will help prepare food, keep the kitchen clean, and support the team during daily service and special events.

Responsibilities

Wash, chop, slice, and measure ingredients Help prepare simple menu items Keep workstations clean and organized Follow food safety and sanitation rules Help assemble meals for daily service or catering Put food away properly and keep storage areas organized Let the team know when supplies are low Work with the kitchen team to keep things running smoothly Qualifications: Ability to stand and walk for long periods Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds Time management and multitasking abilities Physical strength and stamina Detail oriented Experience and skill as technical staff or manager in food production Experience operating equipment Experience in cooking and/or food preparation Kitchen or restaurant experience is helpful, but not required Basic knowledge of food safety and food handling Good knife skills are a plus Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen Pays attention to detail Willing to learn and take direction Team player with a good attitude
