Technician

We are seeking a Junior IT Help Desk Technician to join our growing IT support team. This position is ideal for a motivated individual looking to build their career in IT support. The successful candidate will provide first-line technical support to end users, assist with Microsoft and Office 365 applications, basic network troubleshooting, VPN connectivity, internet issues, and remote user support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line IT support to users via phone, email, remote access, and on-site assistance. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows operating systems. Provide support for Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and printer-related issues.

Assist users with VPN and remote access connectivity. Perform basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi and internet connectivity issues. Configure and support user accounts and passwords. Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians when required. Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.

Deliver professional and customer-focused IT support services.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements Qualifications Grade 12 / Matric Certificate. Certificate, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or Networking. CompTIA A+, N+, or Microsoft certifications will be advantageous. Experience Experience working with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

Exposure to basic networking concepts and troubleshooting. Experience with remote support tools will be advantageous.
