• General Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Potsdam, NY Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Dec 20, 2026 – Mar 21, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Overnight shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, 3 nights per week (Monday–Thursday) On-Call Shift Schedule: Home call, 3:00 PM–7:00 AM, on day shift days (Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday) Call Type: In-house (overnight) / Beeper (home call) Call Ratio: Call Response Time: Callback Rate: Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults, Obstetrics, Neonates Patient Volume/Census: 10-15 patients per day Case Mix: Obstetrics, General Surgery FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic REQUIRED PROCEDURES Epidurals General Anesthesia OB Anesthesia CRNA Supervision JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active NY license Board: Board Certified (or board eligible) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA or RQI) Experience: Epic experience required, rural setting experience preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide anesthesia services including general anesthesia, epidurals, and OB anesthesia. Schedule surgeries and manage operating room schedule. Supervise CRNAs as needed. Provide overnight call coverage (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Work in a rural critical access hospital setting.
