REPORTS TO : Classroom Teacher and Building Principal JOB GOAL : The HELP Teacher/Classroom Assistant, under the direction of the classroom teacher, assists the teacher in the instructional and non-instructional activities of the class, so as to provide the children with more direct supervision and instruction. QUALIFICATION Pr e ferred � Bachelors Degree with coursework in early childhood training, psychology, classroom methods or related areas.

Preferred � a New Jersey Teaching Certificate Demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities and to communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians and school staff.
