Business Analyst

Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst & Scrum Master to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams while driving Agile delivery. This role combines strong business analysis capabilities with Scrum facilitation to ensure high-quality, predictable, and business-aligned product delivery. Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis Analyze business processes and functional requirements to identify improvement opportunities Gather, document, and validate business and system requirements with stakeholders Develop clear, implementation-ready user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria Review test cases and scenarios to ensure alignment with business requirements Support end-to-end delivery from requirement gathering to UAT and release Coordinate with Product Owner and business teams for requirement sign-off Identify UAT scenarios and support UAT execution with stakeholders Manage production issues, defect tracking, and change requests raised by users Conduct demos with stakeholders to showcase delivered features and business value Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum principles and drive disciplined sprint execution Manage and groom the product backlog in collaboration with Product Owner Identify, track, and resolve impediments to ensure smooth delivery Drive sprint predictability, team commitments, and timely delivery of sprint goals Monitor key delivery metrics (velocity, sprint burndown, progress tracking) Promote collaboration across Business, Dev, QA, and Product teams Drive continuous improvement through retrospective outcomes and process enhancements Provide clear visibility on sprint progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders Support release planning, defect triage, and production readiness activities Key Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills Experience in handling production support and issue management Ability to work independently and collaboratively Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field Proven experience in Business Analysis and Agile delivery roles Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Experience in insurance domain preferred but not mandatory Prior experience with Salesforce or similar platforms is a plus Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence is preferred Why Join Us Opportunity to work on evolving digital products in the insurance domain Exposure to cross-functional global teams and stakeholder interactions Ownership of both functional and delivery excellence Fast-paced, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment Disclaimer Ryan Specialty is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
