Job description

Job Title: IT Operations Officer Department: Information Technology Classification: Exempt Reports to: Head of IT Summary/Objective : Under the direction of the Head Of IT, takes complete responsibility for the day-to-day operations, user support and branch/office IT environment. Must be prepared to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Essential Functions

Direct responsibility for supervising, evaluating and training IT operations staff in performing duties including off-hour coverage. Arrange training and assist end users to learn and use new applications.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date computer hardware and software inventory control and update configuration information. Maintain operational dashboards, daily health checks, and system availability reports. Work with internal teams to resolve recurring technical issues and improve operational workflows. Maintain and update standard day-to-day operating procedures.

Support patching, change management, and scheduled maintenance activities. Assist with disaster recovery tests and business continuity planning exercises. Contribute to compliance, audit, and security tasks by generating logs and documentation when required. Collaborate with application support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams for seamless operations.

Competencies: In order to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Knowledge and experience in general banking IT operations, technical support, and/or infrastructure monitoring. Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management. Basic understanding of Windows/Linux servers, networking concepts.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 3 to 7 years of related experience and/or training. Additional Qualifications: Knowledge of Computer Operating Systems, Windows, Microsoft applications.

Language/Communication Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin highly desirable.
