Fixed Assets Analyst

The Fixed Assets Analyst will report to the Supervisor of the area, where will be responsible to the analysis and execution of the activities and processes related to fixed assets cycle for all the LATAM locations under the scope inside the ERP´S (Oracle R12; NA, COMEX and Brazil instances, Oracle R11, INSOFT and ACTIF).

Avoiding an important risk to the Business and guarantee that the fixed asset flows the operation continue working under the responsibilities below.

Responsibilities

Analysis and correct execution of the closing month activities as such as: Run and creation of the monthly reports (Property vs Ledger Reconciliation, 1483 CIP Report) Manual Journal Entries creation Late entries (memo accounts and others)

• Fixed Assets Module Operation and tracking (Oracle R12; NA, COMEX and Brazil instances, Oracle R11, INSOFT and ACTIF) Additions Disposals Transfers Depreciation Report And their GL records posted. *Will be responsible of some locations with low volume
• Capital Spending tracker (CAPEX) o ACT´s Status file (follow up with the business and or project managers) Set monthly meetings to follow up and escalation. Create and upload the capital spending actual to Service Now (monthly) Creation of monthly and year Reports and Metrics. • Execution of physical and remotes inventories (all PPG locations, both regions) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field At least 1-2 years of Fixed Assets experience preferred. Intermedium English level language. Basic Portugues level language. Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (Local and USGAAP) Knowledge in excel spreadsheets, data bases and MS Office. Technical knowledge administrative and finance topics. Knowledge in different ERP´s (Oracle R12; NA, COMEX and Brazil instances, Oracle R11, INSOFT and ACTIF How we work: At PPG, we bring teams together to accelerate collaboration and career development, with in-person work Monday through Thursday and the opportunity to work remotely on Flexible Fridays.
