We're seeking a Technical Sales Specialist with expertise in proteins and Performance & Active Nutrition to bridge science and business.

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to customers, drive commercial growth, and help bring innovative protein solutions to market. Why this role matters Lead technical engagement with strategic customers Drive adoption of innovative protein ingredients Influence product innovation and go-to-market strategies Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, R&D, and Applications Make a visible impact in a high-growth nutrition category What you'll bring Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or related field 10+ years of experience in technical sales, applications, product development, or food technology Expertise in dairy proteins and functional ingredients Knowledge of Performance & Active Nutrition markets Strong customer-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to blend technical credibility with commercial acumen As Technical Sales Specialist, you will translate customer challenges into winning nutrition solutions while accelerating growth across the Performance & Active Nutrition portfolio.

Key responsibilities include

Provide technical and application support to customers and sales teams Lead customer discussions on ingredient functionality, formulations, and performance Support the launch and commercialization of new protein innovations Develop and deliver technical presentations, trainings, and product education Identify growth opportunities through value-based selling Share market insights and customer needs with Marketing, Product Management, and R&D Build strong relationships with customers and key internal stakeholders Use Salesforce to manage opportunities and customer projects You'll join a global Technical Service & Application team within Friesland.
