Communication Intern

At One Mission Society, the Men for Missions team coordinates short-term trips for more than 600 people per year, transforming the lives of those who go and the people they serve. Through this internship, you'll use your skills in Communications to do various activities, such as monitoring the website, helping with the app, and updating any promotional materials.

You'll learn more about the behind-the-scenes work that goes into planning and preparing for short-term missions trips.

Responsibilities

General communications tasks (monitoring the website, helping with the app, updating any brochures, docs, etc. as needed). Edit the Men For Missions magazine. Digitize mailings so that they can be sent electronically. Work to create and update country binders, history, and content. Manage Men For Missions social media posting.

Be involved in the Men For Missions staff meetings.

• July 26, 2024 Location: OMS Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana Hours per week: 40 Compensation: $10 an hour Housing: Included at OMS Headquarters Application deadline: March 1, 2024 Optional: Short-term Mission Trip Interns have the option to take a short-term mission trip to Colombia during their paid internship. This is an incredible opportunity to visit an OMS field and serve alongside an OMS missionary team for 7-10 days. Expenses for this trip must be raised by the intern; this trip is not paid for by One Mission Society.
