As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT), you play a vital role in patient care by performing diagnostic testing that supports clinical decision-making. We are seeking certified MLTs to work travel assignments in a variety of British Columbia communities. Contracts are available throughout multiple regions, including rural communities. What You’ll Do Perform laboratory testing in areas such as Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Transfusion Medicine Analyze and interpret test results with accuracy and attention to detail Ensure quality control and adherence to laboratory standards and protocols Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot as needed Collaborate with Physicians and Healthcare Teams to provide timely diagnostic information Maintain accurate documentation and reporting What We’re Looking For CSMLS certification (or provincial equivalent) Current registration and ability to practice in the applicable province Minimum 18 months’ work experience in a similar setting (excluding post-secondary or practicum placements) Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Adaptability to different lab environments and systems Current WHMIS, TDG, and Mask Fit Test What We Offer Flexible travel assignments across British Columbia 24/7 Clinical and Travel Support Travel and Accommodation included Multiple start dates and contract lengths available Opportunities to gain experience and exposure in diverse healthcare settings The opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care and make a meaningful impact in communities that need it most
