School Van/Bus Driver

Job Goal To safely transport eligible students to and from school and approved school-related activities using district vehicles while promoting student safety, welfare, and positive behavior.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent preferred. At least 21 years of age with a New Jersey driver's license for a minimum of three (3) years. Commercial Driver's License preferred with S Endorsement in good standing or ability to obtain one. See requirements for CDL license HERE Must sign an authorization permitting the school district to conduct monthly motor vehicle record checks pursuant to N.

J.S.A. 39:2-3.4.c. Must have completed the training required pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:39-19.1a.c. and N.J.S.A. 18A:39-19.2. Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status.
