• Platform Engineering About the Role As Lead – SRE & Platform Infrastructure , you will architect, scale, and secure the foundational ecosystem powering Dayal Agri. Tech Group’s data centers, manufacturing networks, and digital Agri. Tech solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead Dayal’s technological modernization. You will bridge legacy high-availability data center operations with modern SaaS/cloud paradigms, embedding SRE principles = automation, observability, resilience, and security across our plant networks, ERPs, and cloud stacks.

Key Responsibilities

Define SLIs/SLOs, drive continuous uptime across multi-site manufacturing and data center operations, refine incident response (RCA, runbooks), and execute backup/DR drills, CCTV monitoring systems. Network & Security Architecture: Manage enterprise switching (Cisco L2/L3, VLANs, VPNs) and perimeter firewalls (Sophos / Fortinet / Palo Alto Networks).

Enforce zero-trust policies, system hardening, and endpoint detection (EDR/XDR). Systems, Storage & Data Platform: Administer Linux and Windows Server environments, Active Directory, virtualization, and SAN/NAS arrays. Support core relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL) supporting critical ERP and SaaS workflows. Automation & Observability: Eliminate operational toil using Python, Bash, and Ansible for automated OS patching and hardware rollouts.

Set up monitoring and log analytics with Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, or Nagios. Web, Domain & Workspace Identity: Manage external DNSSEC, NGINX reverse proxies, SSL/TLS certs, mail security (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), and enterprise workspace identity (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace). Facilities & IT Lifecycle: Oversee data center infrastructure (UPS, rack density, structured cabling, cooling, DCIM), IT budgeting, vendor contracts, and AMC renewals.

Qualifications

& Technical Requirements Experience: 10+ years managing enterprise infrastructure, core networks, and multi-site manufacturing environments. Hands-on Stack: Proficiency with Cisco networking, enterprise firewalls (Sophos/Fortinet/Palo Alto), and core databases (MySQL/Postgres). Systems & Automation: Strong expertise in Linux/Windows administration, virtualization, and scripting (Ansible, Python, Bash) for automated rollouts.

SRE & Cloud Mindset: Experience establishing telemetry, DR testing, and driving legacy data center workflows toward cloud and SaaS integration patterns. Execution: Strong incident command skills, cost-conscious vendor management, and structured communication. Proximity to Delhi-NCR Approximate distances: Delhi: 70 km | Ghaziabad: 40 km | Noida: 55 km Connectivity: Road: Access via NH-58 and the Delhi–Meerut Expressway.

Rail: Railway connectivity to Delhi and surrounding areas. Metro/Rapid Rail: Connectivity through the Delhi Metro and the Namo Bharat (RRTS) network, subject to the selected route and station.
