Position Summary

Deliver day-to-day management of HKN’s social media channels, creating and publishing engaging content that showcases our operations, our people and their achievements across all HKN entities. Main Duties & Responsibilities Create, schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other approved platforms Follow the content calendar and brand guidelines, and keep a consistent look and tone across entities Gather stories, photos and video from sites and offices; interview employees and write short features Monitor and respond to comments and messages, and flag sensitive or negative content to management Follow the approval process before publishing anything involving operations, security-sensitive locations or individuals Prepare monthly performance reports and basic analytics Maintain the photo and video library with appropriate permissions and consent records Minimum Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media or a related field 2–4 years of experience in social media management or content creation Strong writing skills in English; Arabic and/or Kurdish is an advantage Hands-on experience with design, photo and video editing tools Understanding of social media analytics and best practices Good judgment and discretion with sensitive information
