Inside Sales Representative

POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for developing profitable relationships with both new and returning customers within our builder, designer, remodeling and retail communities. Will also work showroom hours including Saturdays. A comp day will be provided for Saturday hours.

Essential Functions

• Provide expert consultations to take projects through design, material selection and installation.

• Build proposals and quotes based on qualifying the needs of the customer and fulfilling those needs.

• Execute the customer’s order and provide support as needed to assist through successful completion.

• Interact with industry professionals to cultivate relationships for referrals and develop a self-sustaining network of clients.

• Stay abreast of industry and local trends and leverage vendor product and sales training when offered.

• Manage collection of payments for sales.

Competencies/Skills/Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Positive attitude with strong organizational skills and effective team player required

• Ability to be detail-oriented and multi-task and work within specified timeframes

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required

• Previous showroom sales experience is required and work experience in our industry is preferred

• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel and Word
