This leadership role is responsible for supervising delivery drivers, coordinating on-site parts logistics, and ensuring our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include

Supervise, schedule, and support fleet delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate parts deliveries Coordinate delivery schedules, communicate changes, and arrange backup coverage to minimize service disruptions Manage fleet documentation and compliance, including vehicle registrations, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including mileage, maintenance histories, and incident reports Coordinate on-site parts logistics , including parts storage, stocking, and delivery operations Monitor driver performance and safety practices through ride-alongs, evaluations, and ongoing coaching Ensure company vehicles and forklifts meet applicable maintenance, documentation, and compliance requirements Partner with Parts, Service, and Safety teams to support efficient operations and consistent service standards Monitor logistics expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and developing logistics personnel Promote a strong Safety First culture across all fleet and delivery operations 📋 What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, fleet operations, transportation, or a related field Strong organizational, scheduling, and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to lead teams, coordinate multiple priorities, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics or fleet tracking systems Strong understanding of fleet operations, delivery coordination, and operational efficiency Ability to work independently, resolve problems, and adapt to changing business needs Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement Flexibility to be available outside normal business hours , including evenings and overnight, as needed to support team members working variable schedules ✅ Preferred Experience: Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet operations College degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field Experience managing delivery drivers or coordinating multi-vehicle fleet operations Familiarity with fleet maintenance, vehicle inspections, and regulatory compliance Experience with parts distribution, heavy equipment, or industrial supply operations Experience managing logistics costs, driver performance, and operational improvements Start your next chapter with Mustang Cat as a Field Logistics Supervisor —and lead the teams responsible for keeping parts moving safely, efficiently, and reliably to support our customers and service operations throughout Southeast Texas.
