Application Engineer

Key responsibilities

Being the Technical Contact for Test- and Design engineers at our customers Translate customer requirements into product requirements Consultation of customers about our products. Consultation of our customers concerning the influence of changes on product cost and price Consultation of manufacturing concerning products.

Product definition for IAMSupport to productivity initiatives as outsourcing, etc. Close cooperation with different departments (product and process eng. Test, sales, marketing, production etc) required Act as a project leader from the start through product launch for customers. Comply with the safety and environment requirements and responsibilities.

Excellent knowledge in English additional language skills preferred (German, French) Excellent knowledge of PC-standard software, preferable further knowledge in SAP, CAD, etc. Qualifications/ certifications: Bachelor degree needed. Experience in Automotive or supplier industry Excellent knowledge of Friction and Brake Technology (manufacturing process and application).
