Location: The Pyramids, Birkenhead, CH41 2ZL Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:30pm – 7:00pm Hours per Week: 7.5 hours Contract: Temporary Vacancy Cover Start: Immediate Current End Date: 14th October 2026 We are currently recruiting for a reliable Evening Cleaner to work at a High Street Bank based within The Pyramids in Birkenhead.

This is a part-time evening position providing ongoing vacancy cover. Duties will include: General cleaning of the banking premises Vacuuming and mopping floors Cleaning office and staff areas Cleaning kitchens and welfare facilities Cleaning and sanitising toilets Emptying bins and replacing liners Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints Ensuring the premises are left clean, tidy and presentable Requirements Due to this role being within a High Street Bank, successful applicants will be required to complete the necessary pre-employment screening, including: Basic DBS check Adverse financial/credit check Right to Work verification Valid Right to Work documentation must be brought to the induction Comfortable with lone working Comfortable acting as a key holder where required Confident using an alarm panel where applicable Able to use the mandatory telephone time and attendance system Reliable with excellent timekeeping Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred Working Hours Monday: 5:30pm – 7:00pm Tuesday: 5:30pm – 7:00pm Wednesday: 5:30pm – 7:00pm Thursday: 5:30pm – 7:00pm Friday: 5:30pm – 7:00pm Total: 7.
