Job description

Family Location: 93108 Summary: This is not a traditional nanny or housekeeping position. It’s a unique opportunity for someone who loves variety, adventure, and helping a family thrive. This is a full-time hybrid role combining household support, childcare, meal preparation, family assistance, and international travel.

We’re looking for a true all-rounder—someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is equally happy organizing the house, preparing a healthy meal, caring for our daughter, or packing for our next adventure. No two days will look exactly alike. We’re looking for someone flexible, resourceful, proactive, and genuinely happy to jump in wherever needed.

A bit about us : We’re a warm, playful, adventurous family of three looking for an exceptional person to help support our family and everyday life. We split our time between Santa Barbara, California; Nosara, Costa Rica; and Austin, Texas, with plans to spend time in places like Japan, Portugal, Aspen, and other destinations around the world.

We typically live in Santa Barbara, Costa Rica and Austin, Texas for 3-6 months of the year. We’re entrepreneurial, curious, active, and live life a little differently. We love nature, healthy living, exploring beautiful places, and creating a peaceful, happy home wherever we are. We’re hoping to find someone who feels like a natural extension of our home—someone we can trust, laugh with, and build a wonderful long-term working relationship with.

We have a sweet, curious 9-month-old daughter. We also have a sweet and gentle Labrador Retriever, so comfort around dogs is important. Above all, we deeply value the people who work with our family and want them to feel genuinely supported, appreciated, and cared for. A bit about you : You are warm, nurturing, and genuinely loving.
