Job Details: Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $140000.00 - $155000.00, Job Category: Life Sciences, Oncology experience is required for this role. PrecisionQ is seeking a strategic, client-focused Senior Manager of Commercial Operations to lead complex engagements for oncology-focused life sciences, biopharmaceutical, and diagnostics clients.
This role serves as a key link between clients and cross-functional teams, translating business needs into actionable plans and high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate combines oncology industry knowledge, strong project leadership, and commercial acumen with the ability to build trusted relationships and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day delivery of client engagements, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor. Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful execution. Partner with Analytics, Medical Affairs, Product Development, Cloud, Sales, and other teams to deliver solutions that address oncology client needs.
Translate complex clinical, commercial, and data-driven insights into clear recommendations and client-ready materials. Create and deliver status updates, executive presentations, and steering committee materials for senior and C-suite audiences. Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality, meeting deadlines, and proactively addressing risks.
Build and expand relationships within new and existing accounts to identify additional opportunities and support client retention. Support the sales cycle from opportunity identification and solution development through scope-of-work creation.
Qualifications
Required: Direct oncology experience within the life sciences, biopharmaceutical, healthcare consulting, or healthcare data and analytics industry. Strong understanding of the oncology commercial landscape, including the needs of life sciences and diagnostics clients. Bachelor’s degree in science, business administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
7–10 years of progressive client-facing experience in project management, client services, commercial operations, or a related function. Proven ability to lead complex engagements and manage multiple projects, stakeholders, deadlines, and competing priorities. Experience developing polished, executive-level presentations, recommendations, and client deliverables.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make technical and non-technical information clear to varied audiences. Management consulting experience preferred. Ability to travel 15–30%. This position requires candidates to reside in either the Eastern or Central U.S. time zones.
