Class 3/1 Operator
Job description
Position Summary
The Class 3/1 Operator will work with the Vacuum Truck Services team to provide exceptional service to our clients. Services provided include hydro excavating, septic service, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading and hauling of various fluids/ material. The chosen individual will perform this diverse range of activities with a focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Operate vacuum equipment safely in an industrial setting. Provide exceptional service to all clients and professionally represent GFL. Complete daily equipment pre-trips and driver logs required for NSC compliance. Maintain detailed and accurate company documentation to accompany work performed.
Participate in safety programs such as job hazard assessments. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Valid Class 3A or 1A Commercial Driver's License and a fairly clean Commercial Drivers Abstract. Must be able to drive a manual transmission. Vacuum truck and/or hydro-excavating experience is an asset. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Safety-focused attitude with experience working in an industrial setting.
