About the Role

As a Cook, you'll work in the production kitchen making pizzas for our restaurant store front! You'll assemble pizzas with semi-automated equipment like a dough press and conveyor oven, working closely with the front of house staff to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment for the front window, pick-ups, and dine-in orders. There will be some fresh veggie prep and light prep. We have a high standard for cleanliness and quality, so you'll need to follow instructions and protocols carefully.

You'll also keep your area clean and well-stocked, work with the team to complete shift checklists, and you'll pitch in where needed to keep the kitchen and restaurant running smoothly.

This is a high-volume kitchen - be ready to do things like top pizzas for hours! The team will support you, and we'll have fun along the way, pinky promise.

Job Requirements

• Able to stand, walk, be on your feet for long periods of time.

• Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly.

• Able to tolerate touching and being around allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.

• Comfortable using ovens, knives, kitchen tools, and other industrial kitchen equipment.

• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures.

• Comfortable working and communicating in loud, fast-paced working environments.

• Must be 18+ years old to apply.

• Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).

Experience is not required, but if you have worked in pizza kitchens that use conveyor ovens or large-scale catering kitchens or bakeries, we'd love to hear from you!

Scheduling

Flexible schedules! We'll work with you to find a schedule that works for everyone.

The restaurant will be open from 11am-9pm Tuesday-Sunday, but the shifts for this position are exclusively weekends and some evenings. Ideal cook candidates will have open availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Shifts will be Tuesday-Friday dinner from 4pm-10pm and lunches and dinners on Saturdays-Sundays from 10am-4pm and 4pm-10pm.

Part-time hours are available. If looking for full-time hours, cross-training in other roles is an option!
