Job description
The purpose of this job is to ensure city departments and personnel have properly working vehicles and equipment to do their jobs safely and effectively to include fire and police; provides maintenance and repairs to automotive, light and heavy equipment and specialized vehicles such as an apparatus. This position works under close to general supervision according to set procedures but determines how or when to complete tasks.
