Hiring Unit: Athletics & Recreation

  • Intramural Sports Position Summary: Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Intramural Sports General Official will help run the on-going sports programs. Duties include: Officiating intramural matches Game coordination and application of intramural and sports specific rules Assisting with player check-in and scorekeeping Assisting with equipment setup and takedown Maintaining a safe and inclusive playing environment *** Sports Offered: Basketball, Dodgeball, Flag Football, Indoor Cricket, Innertube Waterpolo, Roundnet (Spikeball), Soccer, Ultimate, Volleyball Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities Strong knowledge of the selected sport is an asset. Ability to learn quickly and multitask. Well organized with attention to detail. Before applying, please note that to work at Mc. Gill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma 1 Year Related Experience Hourly Salary: (AMUSE B) $16.85 Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week: 6 (Part time) Position Start Date: 2026-08-25 Position End Date: 2027-04-30 Deadline to Apply: 2026-07-30 This position is covered by the AMUSE collective agreement.
