Lead Water Mitigation Technician

Clean Response puts people's lives back together. After a property has suffered damage from a fire, flood or similar tragedy, our team helps the property owner recover by cleaning up, drying out, and rebuilding. We are seeking full-time, motivated and reliable technicians who can contribute their talent to our Des Moines location.

The Water Technician is responsible for helping put people’s lives back together by cleaning up, drying out, and offering consistent communication and updates throughout the process. We are currently offering a $2500 sign on bonus! $1250 paid out at month 3 and the additional $1250 paid out at month 6. Responsibilities include

Ability to perform within a constantly changing environment; each day brings its own challenges and work to perform. Repair of properties that have suffered water or fire damage. Removal of damaged material. Placement and use of drying equipment when needed. Develop an understanding of water loss procedures. Provide consistent and seamless communication with coworkers and clients.

Maintaining a clean and safe jobsite. The ideal candidate will possess: A positive and optimistic outlook. An eagerness and willingness to learn. Belief in the value of providing outstanding customer service. Experience in water mitigation is a plus. IICRC Water Damage Restoration is a plus. Experience in commercial and residential restoration is a plus.

Experience using small to medium power tools to remove building materials. Access to reliable transportation to and from work. Valid Driver’s License. Must be physically able to lift 50lbs Available for occasional on-call shifts. Ability to work on feet for extended periods in semi-confined spaces. A willingness to work in potentially hot, cold, or wet environments.
