What You Will Do

As the Guest Experience Coordinator , you will serve as a primary point of contact for guests, providing a welcoming experience, assisting with orientations, responding to guest needs, troubleshooting issues, and communicating with program organizers. Coordinators work closely with coworkers across all departments, fostering positive working relationships.

3 day workweek schedule, including potential for overtime and the occasional split shift Requires regular weekend work Schedule may vary based on programming and business needs This position takes place at our Golden Gate campus in the Marin Headlands and cannot be done remotely. Your job will be: Customer Service Create a welcoming environment for diverse groups and guests.

Act as a primary point of contact for guests during their visit. Respond to the needs of guests, troubleshoot problems and help in urgent situations. Welcome guests to campus, conduct orientation talks with groups of up to 120 people. Provide campus tours to prospective conference guests. Logistical Support Set-up, break down and cleaning of event spaces according to conference organizer requests.

Maintain cleanliness of shared campus spaces by performing routine custodial duties, including but not limited to vacuuming, basic bathroom refreshing, and sanitizing dishes after use. Manage inventory and maintain conference supplies in meeting rooms and storage spaces. Able to help guests with basic tech support, including projectors and internet.

Teamwork Demonstrate ability to self-supervise, manage time and take initiative to identify, prioritize and complete projects, both independently and as a member of a team. Participate in weekly team meetings to provide feedback on process improvements. Assist Operations and Facilities teams with daily duties and projects, perform other related duties as assigned.

Provide occasional support for environmental science education programs, as assigned by the supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Food Service Act as a front of house host during meal service hours; Attend to guests, responding to dietary restriction/allergen questions and guest requests during meal services. Support kitchen staff in set-up, service and clean-up for all conference dining hall meals.

Compensation

$ 22.77 /hr Option for a 403b retirement plan with employer match after 1000 hours of work Paid training days and sick leave Who You Are: We are looking for candidates who have: Six months to one year experience in a customer service related field and/or training. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude.

Flexibility to work various hours throughout each week, including weekdays, weekends, early and late shifts. Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. CPR, AED and First Aid certification required. If the applicant does not have this certification already, the applicant will attend certification training within the first three months.

Successful completion of Serv. Safe Food Handlers course within the first 30 days of employment; course will be provided by Nature. Bridge if the applicant does not already possess a certification. Prioritize daily tasks through organization, time management, and communication skills while balancing guest requests. Proficiency with or willingness to learn Google Suite.
