Local Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery

Responsibilities

Drive day cab with 53? dry van trailer to transport to specific route destinations. Deliver hardware supplies using day cab and 53? dry van. Driver loading and unloading using pallet jack, forklift and/or hand cart. Provide excellent customer service. Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle. Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age. Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement. Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical Minimum 2 years of CDL A tractor-trailer delivery experience. Hazmat preferred. Must be willing to obtain upon hire. Doubles endorsement and experience preferred.

Or willing to obtain upon hire. Touch freight experience delivering local, multiple-stop freight using pallet jack and/or hand cart. Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors Legally eligible to work in the U.
