Commercial Tire Press Technician

Heavy Duty Tire, LLC is a family owned and operated Commercial Tire Facility providing sales and service throughout the country with its headquarters located in West Palm Beach, Fl. We are now accepting applications for a full-time Press Technician to fill a position at our Tampa location. Our ideal candidate is a driven problem solver with experience working with press and solid tires in the industrial tire industry.

As an essential part of the team, the Press Technician is responsible for ensuring the customer experience out in the field by providing a quality service that is fast, efficient and raises the bar for industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operating and maintaining a service vehicle Changing and repairing commercial and industrial tires Replacing and repairing rubber tracks Providing prompt and courteous service to our customers Working with office staff to ensure job details are accurate and properly recorded for billing Follow all safety procedures Qualifications and Skills: Valid drivers license and clear driving record is mandatory for consideration Clean background check and drug screening Ability to lift and/or move tires weighing up to 200 pounds Ability to work in varying weather conditions Problem solving Mechanically inclined Press solid tires, utilizing mechanical press Work independently on jobsite Required paperwork for customers Ability to follow safety procedure Schedule: Monday – Friday No Nights Limited weekends Benefits: 401(k) (with 3% company contribution independent of employee elections) Health Insurance Paid Life Insurance Paid Vacation and Holidays Uniforms Professional training and certification Paid weekly
