Manager, Nursing & Patient Care Services - Ambulatory

City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: SMG Senior Health Services are currently hiring a full-time Manager, Nursing and Patient Care Services-Ambulatory in Norfolk, Virginia. Work Shift: First Days Work Hours : Monday – Friday, 7:30 am-4:30 pm or 8-5 pm Location: On-site, will require occasional flexibility for local travel to a primary care office Overview Provides supervision of staff, clinical expertise, and oversight of all aspects of operations including patient care, customer service, budget, and risk management.

Ensures compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies, regulations and standards of care and practice and competency of clinical and non-clinical staff. Accountable for developing, monitoring and engaging team members and other resources to improve financial performance, patient experience, quality, safety, access and team member performance.

Responsible for interviewing, hiring, developing and retaining staff with the goal of developing a highly reliable work team. Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills. Able to adapt leadership style to support achieving department goals and objectives.

Education

RN-Bachelor’s Level Degree (Required) Certification/Licensure Registered Nurse (RN) Single State-Nursing License-NC or VA required Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 90 days of hire required Experience Nursing experience of 2 years required Previous supervisory/charge experience preferred Keywords : RN, Registered Nurse, Medical Group, Nursing, #Indeed Benefits: Caring For Your Family and Your Career
