Medical Office Receptionist – Full Time Newaygo County Mental Health Newaygo County Mental Health is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Medical Office Receptionist to join our support staff team. This position is the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls using a multi-line phone system.
• Greet clients and visitors at the front desk in a professional and friendly manner.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect/update client information.
• Schedule medical clinic and outpatient appointments.
• Process, prepare, and mail paperwork and forms.
• Provide general office support, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong computer, typing, grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with multi-line phone systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and staff.
• Previous medical office or healthcare experience preferred. Additional Requirements:

Compensation

& Benefits:

• Salary range: $38,280 – $46,920 based on experience.
