JOB SUMMARY

Capcrete is looking for an experienced CDL driver to operate a volumetric concrete truck. Unlike a traditional mixer truck, a volumetric truck mixes concrete on-site, allowing customers to receive fresh concrete with the exact mix they need. This position requires someone who is safety-minded, customer-focused, and takes pride in maintaining clean equipmen t.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely operate a Class A CDL volumetric concrete truck to and from job sites. Produce and adjust concrete mixes to meet customer specifications. Load cement, sand, rock, and admixtures as needed. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Keep the truck clean and in good working condition. Complete delivery tickets and required paperwork.

Communicate with dispatch and customers throughout the day. Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements. Report mechanical issues or equipment concerns immediately. Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of the truck and plant area when needed. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.

Current DOT Medical Card. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating volumetric concrete trucks. Ability to safely operate heavy equipment. Mechanical aptitude is preferred. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and positive attitude.
