Summary: The Maintenance Technician will perform general repairs to the facility.

Responsibilities: • Performs general plumbing, electrical, and repairs to the facility’s equipment and systems. • Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues. • Cleans and repairs pools and fountains • Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing and electrical systems continue operating properly. • Obtains services of outside contractors when repairs require specialized training. • Performs general cleaning tasks in the facility. • Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements: • Thorough knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repair • Ability to use hand tools and power tools. • Ability to follow instructions. • Excellent time management skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Physical: • Flexible and long hours sometimes required • Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. • Lift 25-50 lbs. (for specific positions) • Sit, stand and walk for long periods of time. • long hours standing and/or walking • Unusual working conditions: May be scheduled nights, weekends, holidays and occasional overtime; may work indoors or outdoors in a variety of weather conditions; working with wet/slippery floors, sharp objects, fumes and electrical equipment

Work Environment: Duties are performed in indoor and outdoor settings. Will be exposed to extreme hot and cold weather, wind, dust and noise.

Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous experience in related field preferred.

Grooming & Uniform: • Must have good presentation skills and meet grooming standards
